Beavers-Ames sponsor ASU Heavy Civil Construction Chair-Candidates Needed

The Beavers Charitable Trust and the Wink Ames family have chosen Arizona State University to establish a Heavy Construction Chair endowment in support of the heavy construction curriculum. This tenured/tenure-track faculty member will hold a doctorate and/or have significant field experience focused on contracting and heavy civil construction. The Beavers-Ames Heavy Construction Chair will dedicate a significant portion of their time toward undergraduate teaching in construction management and engineering. The holder of this chair will take a leading role in implementing the new bachelor of science in construction engineering program at ASU.

Apprenticeship Program

The AZAGC Apprenticeship Program is a three year program that offers participants a journeyman certificate upon completion.

Environmental Training

These training classes give the participant knowledge based on storm water pollution, regulations and best management practices (BMPs). The courses include potential storm water pollution sources and effects associated with construction activity.
