The AZAGC Apprenticeship Trust Fund offers U.S. Department of Labor-approved apprenticeship programs and heavy civil craft training.
In 2000, the Arizona Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. Apprenticeship Trust Fund was organized because the chapter recognized the importance of having a skilled, trained and safe labor workforce. The trust was created as a vehicle to train and educate people who are interested in pursuing careers in the construction industry. The trust is governed by a board of trustees composed of five to seven members of the association. The board manages the trust’s affairs and determines the training needs for the industry. The trust is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualifies as a charitable organization eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions.
Contact us at 602-252-3926 to find out about current apprenticeship opportunities and/or to discuss how we can customize a program to meet your specific workforce needs.
Orientation is June 20, 2025, 4:30-6:30pm at the AGC Office

On February 23, 2024, the Apprenticeship Trust held a wonderful celebration at the Phoenix Children’s Museum with our apprenticeship program graduates and their proud families and friends. 25 graduates earned their journeyman certificate. It was a very inspiring occasion, and we wish them all the best as they build their careers in this great industry. Thank you sponsors Empire Machinery, Haydon Companies, Hunter Contracting, and Markham Contracting.
