We Are The Leading Professional Construction Association In Arizona

The Arizona Chapter Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. (AZAGC), chartered in 1934, is the oldest and most influential construction association in Arizona. We are a not-for-profit association of general contractors, subcontractors, service providers and suppliers engaged in highway and transportation, federal, heavy, industrial and utility construction.

To be the voice of the construction industry and continuously improve the quality of life for our employees, their families and our community.

Mission

The Arizona Chapter Associated General Contractors represents its members and serves the community by building and supporting a strong, diverse, sustainable, safe and responsible construction industry.

Goals

  • Create and maintain effective relationships with all public and private entities that influence the construction industry.
  • Advocate for, and protect infrastructure funding.
  • Educate the public and public officials on the value of infrastructure as an asset and key driver of Arizona’s economy.  
  • Lead the industry in safe worksites and environmental stewardship.  
  • While ensuring its legal, responsible and ethical use, collaborate with affected stakeholders to monitor and educate the construction industry on emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) applications that advance innovation, efficiency, safety and sustainability.  
  • Recruit and retain members by providing practical and relevant information, services and benefits that decrease risk and increase profit.
