In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month, the Arizona Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. (AZAGC) is proud to partner with Youturn Health, a dedicated organization focused on preventing suicides in the construction industry.
Youturn Health is a virtual support program that bridges the gap between inaction and seeking treatment by making support accessible to employees grappling with stress, anxiety, depression, or suicidal ideation, wherever they are in their journey.
Youturn Health finds and engages populations suffering from behavioral health and substance misuse challenges who are currently falling through the cracks.
Recognizing the critical importance of mental health and well-being among our workforce, we have chosen to prioritize safety over revenue by foregoing the five percent stipend AZAGC would receive for referrals and instead offer that savings to our members and industry partners on Youturn Health’s invaluable services. This collaboration underscores our commitment to creating a supportive environment where every individual feels valued and has access to the resources they need to thrive.
By working together, the AZAGC and Youturn Health aim to foster a culture of care and prevention, ensuring that mental health remains a priority across all levels of the industry. We believe that by supporting one another, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members and their families, building a stronger, healthier community for all.
